SHEL LAB Reciprocating Water Baths deliver precise temperature control and a smooth reciprocal shaking motion. Temperature and oscillation controls feature an easy to read P.I.D. microprocessor temperature controller and an independent safety thermostat.
The bath may be used with or without oscillation. Shaking speed is variable from 20 to 200 oscillations per minute, and the stroke length can be adjusted to three separate settings: 0.5, 1.0, or 1.5 inches to minimize the chance of accidental spillage. Also, the unique basket support system is designed to eliminate tank wear, yet still provide full support and free action for a heavily loaded basket.
A durable finish on the housing prevents corrosion and chipping. In addition to having stainless steel tank, the bath platform tray is designed for optimum temperature uniformity. Maximum temperature is achieved using the stainless steel gable cover, which is designed to prevent condensate from dripping onto samples and assures uniform temperature conditions.
